About Me

I’m a personal trainer who focuses on helping people get stronger, move better, and feel good in their bodies.

I believe training should support your life. It should help you feel better day to day; not leave you feeling worn down or discouraged.

Most of the people I work with are not starting from zero. They’ve stayed active in different ways over the years, but something feels off. Maybe there are aches that weren’t there before. Maybe the gym feels intimidating. Or maybe they just don’t feel as strong or capable as they used to.

That’s where I come in.

There is a lot of conflicting information out there about fitness. It can be hard to know what to do, especially if you’ve tried things in the past that didn’t work or left you feeling frustrated.

My goal is to simplify that.

I focus on helping you build strength in a way that feels safe, realistic, and sustainable. You don’t need extreme workouts or rigid programs. You need a plan that fits you, and guidance so you know you’re doing things the right way.

Every session is personalized to you. Not just your goals, but how your body is feeling that day. If something doesn’t feel right, we adjust. If you’re feeling strong, we build on it.

The goal is to challenge you enough to make progress, without pushing you to the point where you’re too worn out to get anything else done for the day.

A lot of my clients come in feeling unsure. Some have dealt with past injuries. Some haven’t lifted weights in years. Some have never felt comfortable in a gym environment.

Over time, that changes.

They build strength. They move better. They feel more confident in what they’re doing. And the gym becomes something that feels manageable, instead of overwhelming.

This work is personal to me because my own experience with health and fitness wasn’t always positive.

I struggled with finding my rhythm in my fitness journey from a young age. For years, I went through cycles of dieting, weight gain, emotional eating, and then trying to “fix” all of that by adding more exercise and slashing my calories. I added more sets, more reps, more miles, more intensity, more everything. All while trying to eat as little as possible.

I thought that exercising like crazy, and cutting out all of my favorite foods was the only way to see results.

But it didn’t work.

This just left me feeling tired, hungry, worn down, and frustrated. It felt like I was always starting over.

After years of repeating this cycle, I realized that approach wasn’t working. I knew there had to be a better way.

I started learning more about how the body actually works. I took courses, worked with other coaches, and slowly changed the way I approached training and nutrition.

Instead of extremes, I focused on consistency. Instead of trying to force results, I focused on small, incremental improvements. I learned to work with my body instead of against it.

That shift changed everything.

Now, I approach training in a way that is structured, but flexible. Challenging, but realistic. Focused on long-term progress, not quick fixes.

When I’m not training clients, I’m usually continuing my education or learning more about how to better support the people I work with.

If you’re looking to get stronger, feel better in your body, and have a clear plan that actually works for you, I’d be happy to help.
