I am a personal trainer & health coach who is obsessed with learning everything I can about fitness, health, and wellness. I am passionate about teaching women how to build a healthy lifestyle that prioritizes moderation, mindful movement, and simple nutrition strategies.

I want women to understand that building a healthy lifestyle should feel *good*. It should add to our lives, instead of take away from it.

There are so many extreme methods advertised. And so many conflicting opinions online. It can feel impossible to know what to do when you want to get healthy. And that can feel very defeating and hopeless.

It’s important to me to fight all of the misinformation out there, and help women to understand how to get fit, and feel confident, strong, and capable. (Because it *is* possible. And you don’t have to give up everything you enjoy to achieve it.)

For me, health and fitness is more than a job. It’s a hobby and a passion. I love learning more about how our bodies work. So, when I’m not at the gym, you’ll often find me sifting though academic journals, or signing up for a new certification or course.

But my life wasn’t always like this.

I struggled with my weight and body image starting at a very young age. It seems that, as soon as I was aware of my body, I hated it. From elementary school, up to my twenties, I had no confidence, and never felt good enough. 

I tried diet after diet, and my weight just went up and down. As soon as I started to feel like I was getting to a good place, I would start emotional eating, or binging. So I would gain all of the weight back (plus more). Then I would try to spend more time at the gym to “burn it off”. But that never worked. I spent so much time trying to “fix” my body. But, no matter how hard I tried, I never saw the results that I wanted.

I went on like this for years. I felt stuck, but I knew there *had* to be a better way. 

So I started learning as much as I could. I read books about nutrition, diets, fitness, mindset, and health. I even started taking courses on nutrition and exercise. Which lead me to obtain multiple certifications as a wellness coach, nutrition coach, and personal trainer. 

From there, I started practicing the things I was learning, and working with other coaches to learn even more. 

Now, I don’t ever worry about binge eating anymore. I have no guilt around food. I’m eating more than I ever have. I have so much more energy to do all of the things I enjoy. And I’m confident in my body and physique.

The way I view health and fitness has changed so much in the past few years. I love working out (but I don’t beat myself up if I miss a session or two). I see food as nourishment, and enjoy ALL foods without guilt. I no longer pick my body apart, and critique it. Nor do I let my scale weight dictate my mood. I incorporate healthy movement, but I don’t push myself to “run until I drop”, or try to “burn the most calories”.

My life has completely changed, and now I teach others how to make these little changes, so they can feel this good. I KNOW it’s possible.
